1965

Company established as Chye Hin Construction Co Limited.

1972

  • Muda Irrigation Project for the irrigation of padi fields in Kedah & Perlis, under the sponsorship of World Bank. Build our very first power plant project – thermal, Tuanku Jaafar Power Station.
  • Company name changed to Mudajaya Construction Sdn Bhd.

1983

Became a subsidiary of IJM Berhad, with the merger of Ipoh Garden, Jurutama & Mudajaya.

1990

Became a subsidiary company of United Engineers Bhd.

1993

Became a subsidiary company of Mulpha International Bhd.

1995

Consortium member of EPC of KLIA project.

1996

Ventured into property development with Villa Angsana Condominium, Jalan Ipoh.

1997

Ventured into township development through its subsidiary, MJC City in Batu Kawah in Kuching.

Company changed name to Mudajaya Corporation Berhad.

2001

  • First oversea venture, the Udaipur-Ratanpur-Gandhinagar in Gujarat, India.
  • Achieved ISO9001:2000 certification

2004

Mudajaya Group Berhad, holding company of Mudajaya Corporation Berhad, was listed on main market of Bursa Malaysia.

2012

  • Moved into New Corporate Office at Menara Mudajaya, Mutiara Damansara
  • Achieved ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007 certification
